Yeah... because it's amazingly not regulated whatsoever. My sister works at a lab and says she found the corona virus in the catalog of things that you can just order. These labs ship diseases all the time. It is essential for study and research. Not like they just stick that shit in an envelope anyway. -

Only 16% want to so much as cut funding. Republicans still voted at a hefty 15%. This was conducted through Yahoo so the real life percentage is probably far lower.
Also you know anyone can submit something for publication to NY Times right? One person's opinion doesn't mean most or even a considerable amount of people hold that viewpoint. I mean look at that fucking articleI’ve been advocating the abolition of the police for years.
That is not a common opinion by far lol. The majority want reform. Some people want to see budget cuts. I've yet to see any polls actually showing that people want to defund the police entirely. Those people are usually just anarchists and they wanted this shit before they had ever heard of George Floyd. -

Anyway I'm downloading that book now, sounds interesting. I don't really think the author has any kind of authority to be speaking on this though. This is his ONE book and its 7 years old. Doesn't seem to be any sort of ex FBI and his nonprofit seems pretty biased. Literally anyone can write a book and it's pretty easy to twist and pick statistics/facts to your liking when you want to prove a certain point.
And even if it's a setup I really don't think it makes it any less of a foiled attack. Those people are clearly willing to commit acts of terrorism. If the FBI hadn't approached them someone else might have. See: Boston Bombing. They learned how to make those bombs from and Al-Quesadilla magazine they were sent.
I mean there's been a lot of shit since that book was written in 2013. Including the Boston Bombing. -

I called obama a 'half nigger' (which I don't care about) and said I'd run him over with my pickup truck (which I didn't have) and said I'd shoot him with 'old bess' (which I didn't have.) I also planned on voting for him that year, which I did. My first election.
It was in a thread shitting on him and I was just trying to make fun of all the racist right-wingers, as usual. I did not expect them to come to my house.
They came with two and did a whole good cop bad cop routine which I did not think was a real thing. One of them accused me of talking back but all I did was ask to see their badges. They said they couldn't talk to me because I'm a minor (not true) and had me call my parents to come home from work and discuss this. It was fucking awful. We sat at the dining room table while they pulled out printouts from Zoklet and read the post aloud. My brother was in the next room and I remember him laughing when they read it.
They wanted to search my room too which, I let them do because I was a dumb kid. I didn't have anything they could find anyway. I was still in HS and didn't have money for any drugs 99% of the time. The 'nice cop' did the searching.
They also asked what kind of books I read and looked through my bookshelf, which I thought was interesting. Barely poked around at all. Amazingly they looked right in a drawer where I had syncan foils and didn't find them. I didn't know they were there till months later. Pretty sure it was one of the 'loaded' foils I'd stash around my room in case I ever ran out. I would get stoned, stash them, and forget about them even as I was going through withdrawals lol.
Nothing came of it but ever since then I have gotten pulled aside and searched EVERY SINGLE TIME I fly in/from the US, without fail. I am most definitely on some kind of watch list.
I read somewhere that Obama's 'death threats' were like triple or something of that of Bush, and I can't help but wonder if my trolling was included in that. It probably was. -

Yeah, I mean the van camera alone lmao. Whole thing was a setup. Doesn't mean someone couldn't have brought a real gun or real explosive though. Would be interesting to have a more detailed report. In America you'd probably just get shot regardless.
