Traditional sleep aids are out of the question as most of those are for actually getting to sleep which I have no problem doing idk I'm sure having my sleeping schedule absolutely wrecked the past two years by meth use is the culprit but that information doesn't seem to be doing me any good.
Try phenibut, seriously. A lot of people use it for sleep and it has a long enough duration to last all night. Try 1-2 grams about three hours before you plan to try sleeping (even 500-750 mg will help but you probably need a bit more).
L-theanine is helpful too in doses of about 400 mg because it smooths out stress related brain waves but it won't do much on it's own if you're really struggling, it's good when combined with something else though.
I took 750 my of Phenibut, 125 mg diphenhydramine, and 5 mg melatonin last night with a small glass of whiskey and got my first night of 8 hours undisturbed sleep in several weeks. Been having stress related work dreams lately where I wake up thrashing around in a panic so it was a nice break.
Alcohol is usually shit for sleeping because of the rebound effect with it's short duration but if you use it in lower amounts to potentiate other sedatives it's fairly effective.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

They don't get paid enough to care. I used to poke holes in people's meat packaging when I bagged groceries by slamming it into this little metal sprong that stuck up from the bagging area. Only to assholes though, and you had to be a real massive one at that. I'd get one finger covered in meat juice and use it to cover their other groceries (keeping it away from touching anything else) then go wash my hands really quick.
