Some people are really rude / self centered.
I've only ever noticed the rude/impolite shit happening to me when I'm in a big city. Considering I'm rarely in one it really irks me when it happens definitely a lot more than it should I guess it's because I'm just not used to it. I live in the sticks where the person behind you is more likely to help you cover your purchase if you're short and likely to offer to help you carry out your groceries as well.
It's something about cities that turns people into assholes and self righteous bitches idk why or how though. -
