But you can rent a studio near 7th street in Oakland for about 1700 or more and take a one stop under the bay to San Fransico.. It's like taking PATH from Jersey to Manhattan but slightly farther. About 15 minutes and you're at Embarcadero or Montgomery street. 15 minutes packed in like a sardine.. Hellish in the late summer months when it's 100 degrees inside cars with shifty AC and sweaty angry people around you .. But hey, you have your own digs in Oakland ..But on 7th street in an industrial area. Lots of Pot dispensaries though.
