Wagner group are saying that "After tonight's shelling of Donetsk (civilians), nothing will be the same for Ukraine Army. Hell awaits them in Donbass."
Have heard the Ukrainians are using the Caesar artillery France gave them to hit Donetsk, but that's not something I have seen confirmed.

I can't imagine the people in charge don't really know the reality on the ground, but even if they didn't the goal was never really to 'win', just to feed as many Ukrainians as possible into the Russian war machine in the hopes that it'd break down.
