like i said, there never was an islamic golden age. the proof of this was already in the wiki you posted, that the term itself can not be unambiguously defined.

saying that there was actually a ''golden age'' in those times will be like saying the period of american golden age spans from the day the declaration of independence was signed until today in trump regnum based on all the achievement of corporate america for the past 30 years.

it was back in the 90s when bleeding heart liberals and academics began romanticizing good ole islamic times after they were being paid with petro dollars by the saudis so as to make islam more palatable and tame and compatible to the people of the west.

note the second part where this so called ''islamic golden age'' only came into being in the later part of the 20th century.
