I'm all set to walk out the door but even showing up early there is only a small chance there will be any equipment to use until 1st shift gets done.
I'm going to keep relaxing for now and not push it.
I checked my finances and all is good so I have nothing to worry about.
I'm proud I even made it this far into the year without missing a day of work except for that one time when I quit my job and didn't do anything for 2 weeks... -

That's all I opted to do.
There are mixed results when it comes to trying to add more ram to this specific model laptop and given what it is, it's not worth even throwing $30 at.
Last summer I bought a laptop with the same specs for $30 at a gas station in Springfield and fixed it with an old yet working hard drive I got off someone for free.
With the very limited upgrades I can do it's worth it to save the money and buy a more capable laptop off ebay and fix up. -

Right now I'm drinking my coffee and trying to download Windows 10 again hoping it doesn't fuck up this time.
Last night I think it updated my Windows while also downloading and it jacked everything up. -

Usually once a month or so I feel it and have to fight really hard not to miss a day of work.
This afternoon after going through the previous night with little sleep and lots of sickness I guess I pressed forth too hard and lost it.
Maybe my thinking was flawed or maybe it wasn't but I was legit worried about my cat so I went home and checked on her only to find her totally fine and myself freaked out over nothing.
I sat down on the end of my bed and decided there was no point in rushing back to work and that I'd just show up after the next break.
Well I crashed hard and only woke up when my girlfriend called to check on me after which I texted my supervisor and said I'd be back tomorrow.
5 hours went by before my eyes finally opened up and I found myself laying upon my mattress fully clothed, ready for work with my steel toed boots still on my feet.
Coming to was sort of as if a fog slowly lifted around me and I realized I just threw away $120 of work and knowing that already has me regretting my actions.
There was little other choice in my opinion.
Had I stayed at work my mind would have been distracted the entire time worried sick and being so tired would make my job extra difficult just trying to look out for people and be safe.
I'm glad I got some rest but I wish it didn't go down quite like it did today.
Tomorrow and Friday I have no choice except to try and make up some lost time so my paycheck doesn't look like complete fuck.
Right now I really want a pizza but I'm not about to reward myself for the fiasco that was my day.
Instead I'm going to go wash off in the shower and fix something I already have at home.
Going to try and stay up for a while in order to keep my routine somewhat.
I'm ready for the weekend and so badly I want to put today behind me. -

Feeling like I got a good amount of stuff accomplished today and I haven't even left for work yet.
My guess is work will be alright for a few hours but my lack of sleep last night is sure to catch up to me and put me in a lethargic state.
My goal for work today is to stay safe and stay aware of my surroundings regardless of how tired I get.
My non existent quota will be met at par no matter what.
Not going to try and go hardcore today though. -

Tried going into CVS to buy some Tussin but they wanted 8 dollars.
The plan now it for me to get readier for work, take the kitty kitty to the groomers and then drop her off at home and hit up Walmart on my way into work to buy some Tussin and maybe something for a sore throat. -

The neighbors were fighting really loud.
And it wasn't going to stop because it was 2 women fighting unlike when it's a man and a woman and eventually one just slugs the other into shut up.
When I finally did fall asleep I took a big swig of cough syrup but mere hours later I was up again thirsty and coughing for more.
The second time I woke up I could tell the night was over and be it early as fuck I knew I wasn't going to get anymore zzzz's.
My throat is real scratchy and I have a coof.
It's unpleasant but not debilitating.
My clothes should be about dry by now and I'm going to get dressed and head to my girlfriend's house to take out the trash.
I sort of feel shitty so I don't know how much extra I'll even attempt to do if any at all.
Then I need to stop and pick up some cat food.
My goal is to be home by noon so I can get my Zoey cat wrangled and put in her carrier so I can take her to the groomers at 1:00 this afternoon.
By the time that's all over I'll be off to work. -

I got n HP Notebook - 15-bs212wm sitting here that I agreed to take a look at for my girlfriend's father.
It get's passed the Windows 10 log in screen and is completely frozen beyond that point.
I can hear the old hard drive scratching around leading me to believe it's fucked.
This POS is probably only a few hears old but its got a damn celeron processor, 4gb of ram and a damn 5400rpm SATA drive.
I hate how they release trash in something shiny and rip people off.
Anyways, beyond replacing the HDD with and SSD, I was looking to see if the ram was upgradable to 8gb so it at least can use the internet these days and I've got some people online saying "no it's not" and others saying "yes you can" but even the yes people said you can only top it out to 8gb of ram if you keep it the same speed.
Now given the overall crapiness of the lappy, do you think it's even worth trying to save?
The old man just wants to send e-mails and use Word Perfect on it.
Later I plan on sticking a usb stick with puppy linux on it to see how well the rest of the parts in it work but I'm going to guess "slow"
In the meantime I'm going to try and get into the bios and do some basic shit in there to see if that tells me anymore.
Suggestions? -

2022-03-13 at 7:25 PM UTC in 550sq ft of I WENT TOO FAR 😨Went down there last night and saw most of the paint I applied last weekend was peeling and that's my fault for not doing much prep work.
Took the furnace apart to manageable pieces to drag out and throw in the alley way.
Will be flex sealing the one window with a second coat today and hopefully making a covering for the broken window so I can remove the frame and get back to replacing the rest of it in a week or 2.
I need a better sweeper as the shop vac I'm using does not suck very well.
Hopefully I can get stuff at least thrown against a wall soon so I can work on the part I want to be my space down there.
