Anyways, it has taken me as long just to shop for them online and now Chell is wanting to go to the store when she gets home so I guess I have shopped twice as long for the same amount of shit and didnt even try anything new.
Im always having to go around the people at walmart shopping for everyone online and I just dont see the point in going through the store to get what I already know I want and someone else is willing to get for me. -
2020-11-14 at 7:30 PM UTC in What Auto Parts Store is the Best?I use to always go to Orielly but the last few years everytime I go in there it seems like there is only 1 person sort of working and that the staff really doesn't seem to be in much of a hurry to do anything for a customer.
My choices of stores is usually O'reilly, Advanced, or Autozone and they are all right next to each other.
Lately I have just been going to Advanced but I still don't buy much of anything even when I do go.
Half the time I walk in and see how much they are charging and I leave and go order it online.
The Autozone is there and I have gone to it a couple times in the last year but honestly their prices are just the same.
Id go to Autozone everytime but their location is just a hair off for it to be convenient for me.
Now I have a Pep Boys near by and I haven't been in there in probably 6 or 7 years. I think I am going to go and see what their prices and selection looks like again. -

You're paying for the convenience of being able to get that part you need on a Sunday so you can make it to work on Monday. You can also bring shit up on their computer to help you see what the problem might be. Auto Zone allows you the use of their diagnostic plug-in scanner to pull up and/or clear trouble codes.
Sure, I'll order something cheaper from the net if the issue can wait, however, I'm sure glad the brick and mortar auto parts stores are there. I replaced my struts and shocks on my main driver this spring and bought the parts on-line. Now, I'd gladly go to Auto Zone if I broke a fan belt and the car wouldn't run without it and be thankful I could.
The question is what physical store is the best to go to.
