She's a IV user, and her hand was swollen to fuck and back. She'd come here to visit her boyfriend's mother, and just came down to smoke while he was up talking to his mom. I went to my room, got some sterile saline, alcohol, gauze, bandages, and tape, and doctored her hand up. If I would have been home I would have given her some antibiotics, most likely bactrim assuming she wasn't allergic to sulfa drugs, and used some lidocaine to numb out the site, and used a scalpel to open up and drain that abscess.
I encouraged her to go to the ER, but she didn't want to go because of the long wait, and her fear of being labeled a junkie, which I kinda understand. I truly hope that shit doesn't get too bad. If it was treated properly right now, and if I had my first aid kit with me to to do that for her, she likely would be A-okay. This is why I like having a nice, well put together first aid kit, with a little bit of everything to treat all sorts of shit just like with her. She is a prime example of why I hijack so much shit when I come into hospitals, I just wish I had all my shit so I could have properly treated her, and gave her a 10 to 14 day course of bactrim.
She and her boyfriend told me that they are coming up in the morning, and she'd told me while I doctored her up that when she was her about a year ago in the ER that someone had left a bunch of IV catheter starters, and 2 unopened PICC line kits laying about, and she snagged them lol. She told me she'd bring them up to me since she figured I could use them more than she'd ever be able to (she didn't realize what they were at first), and fuck, I honestly think if I do end up staying alive much longer, I always wanted an ultrasound machine, and goddamn it... I'm gonna get one, one of these days. While it's a wee bit more complicated than setting an IV, it's not that hard to put a PICC in, and I'm sure I could master that skill. I'd need to get Sherlock too, so I can guide and confirm placement without a chest x-ray or fluroscopy(same thing, just an x-ray in real time, able to see the movement) to confirm/guide placement.
I just woke up, and got my dose of meds, had a dose before I'd saved, so now I'm feelin' pretty good, especially since I did a wee bit of dope on top. I just got back from smoking, and bullshitting with the security guard. Those guys are pretty cool compared to other places. Mercy sucked. They wouldn't even let me wait in the waiting room for my ride when I got discharged after being there 10 fucking days. I couldn't go out to smoke there either which sucked. There was a video on efukt for a while with a guy and girl that met in tumbler. The girl was really cute. The guy was kind of fat and just looked mad and crazy. Think his handle was sadistic_sid or something. Anyway they meet online and get ina relationship, and eventually he gets her to start doing things and he films it to post online. First 20-30 seconds of the first video is her standing naked in front of a mirror crying, and he's shaving her head and this song is playing
There's pussy mutilation, cutting her breasts, forcing things down her throat, punching her in the face, choking her. Putting knives in her ass. Very little sexual, just a lot of hurting, and the final scene is them both staring in the mirror blankly, with a really lo-if quality. Felt like the kind of video you might see as evidence in a murder trial.
But the vibe I always got from that, I always thought would be an interesting/fucked up indie movie about a girl with mental problems who meets a genuinely fucked up dude, and over the course of a relationship, he breaks her down until she essentially agrees to let herself be eviscerated and vivisected on camera for the sake of art.
I want someone who get that same churning gut feeling I got when I finished watching requiem for a dream at 13.

If he's a liar, it'll come out eventually, and if not, well... this, and all the bullshit from everyone else, is really in poor taste. Sure, he did make a thread about it, but did ask for it to be removed, and sure, I guess he's got it coming for posting about it at all (although we do make mistakes in grief, and being intoxicated, which I'm sure, if it's not a troll, he was experiencing both at the time), but I always saw you as being one with more taste and class than to make a thread like this, about anyone's dead child, just to cause an emotional response to that individual.
Even though I've had less than agreeable interactions with Bill Krozby in the past, I do think it's low to say shit like this when a person is grieving over the loss of a loved one. Even if not for him, his daughter deserves more respect than this. However, if it does come to be found that he was trolling, than may the ass fucking of Bill Krozby commence. I just don't think that he is, and I'd rather err on that side, than say fucked up shit if it really did happen. If you hate Bill Krozby, which again, I can't say that I don't have a distaste for his shit, especially in the past, as he's definitely been one to say some fucked up shit to and about me, that's fine, but talking shit with the leverage of someone's dead loved one is low hanging fruit to begin with, at least go for something more creative.

I've been reading bits and pieces about this for the last few days, starting from Erdogan talking to Trump directly over his threats of directly attacking the SDF, but I honestly don't think he'll succeed and can't predict where it'll go from here.
The US forces are facing a lot of pressure and for no forseeable benefit - the only state that benefits from US forces and proxies in Syria at the moment is israel. The US has two major strongholds in Syria-
Al-Tanf is the southern base that is largely used to train and supply 'moderate rebels', which Russia has essentially cut off from the Syrian side, making it almost useless.
North/East of the Euphrates on the Turkish border is land claimed by the 'SDF', US forces and their local and regional (majority-)Kurdish proxies. This territory was earmarked as a base for longstanding regional US presence and perhaps gas transit, but Turkey will not allow a rebel Kurdish state to exist on the Turkish border - regardless of his bluffing and insanity, Erdogan's murderboner for Kurds always comes first.
There are hints that Turkey and the US have come to an understanding over the planned Turkish invasion, but I didn't put too much stock in it until Trump started openly talking about withdrawal. At this point, it seems likely that the bulk of the US forces (there are officially only around 2000 in the country) will pull out of SDF territory and the Kurds will be abandoned to the TAF.
I (and many others) thought it likely that the Kurds would side with the SAA once the US abandoned them, but lately I've been thinking about the composition of the SDF. At the height of the war, I talked to Vanessa Beeley about it and she told me that 80-90% of the SDF were PKK/YPG, which with their existing command structures, made it easy for the US to order them about as a regular army. The question I should've asked but didn't was how many of those soldiers were even Syrian? Generic rebels and ISIS were around 70% foreign before the SAA starting winning back territory, and the PKK/YPG originated in Turkey and Iraq.
The question there is, while it seems obvious that the local Kurds will run back to the SAA, what will become of the rest of them? A fairly safe estimate is that 50% or so are probably foreign fighters - will they also fight with the SAA? Will they disappear across borders, or try to smuggle themselves and their shiny new equipment back to their groups in Turkey to carry on the war there?The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
