I definitely think so. Having cool and accessible technology has become affordable and commonplace. Plus there was new shit coming out like handhelds, portable video players, HD, even microwaves lol.
What comes out now is simply more of the same, so it isn't as interesting. Same features and abilities on an iphone as anything else. I feel consumer ready VR/holograms will be the next 'cool' thing. -

Had to google it and theres some 50mg law for explosives here and has been since 1966. So I guess you can use anything as long as it's under 50mg. Dunno the extent of what this applies to but if it extends to LSD you can legally blow your mind huehuehue -

There isn't really. At least not when it comes to your blood. It can be pretty relevant when it comes to how you were raised.
People pay money to satisfy their curiosities all the time. It also means something to some people. Those tests can tell you a lot about your predisposition to disease and stuff too, though I think typically they're sold as two different things -

It's not so much the knowing what you are as it is the attempting to relate to a culture and ethnicity which isn't yours.
I don't get how there's a conversation to be had over ethnicity. When people ask me and I'm not being srs I tell them I'm polish or korean and I am always believed so long as I don't say I'm black. "White as a cucumber" is a good one to confuse people. -
