of course the women buying into it think they're being clever, trying to shortcut their way into status and wealth but that's just what they do; most women don't really seem to have any agency of their own. Women entering the workforce en masse was a mistake not because women shouldn't be in the workforce, but because it created the expectation that women should work. It created an explosion of ridiculous make-work jobs like HR and compliance managers and has, over time made it very difficult to sustain a family on a single income - effectively locking women (at least in lower social/income brackets) out of traditional homemaking roles.

women has been in the workforce and gathering foods since before men hunted their first animal.
the mistake is forcing equality and equity among men and women workers thinking theyre equals.
