You just listed some badass things he did in his short life. How do you measure greatness? I think a good measurement for it is affecting change and he certainly did that. He flexed hard, daring people to cap him, fucked women in every city and lead a huge March to Washington because crackers owed him money. There aren't many modern day Americans who have half the spine he had. People called him out for being non violent but that added to his mythos and he's an objectively good role model for children of all colors

How do you think I'm a 4 time felon and never seen prison and only did a year in county cuz I was homeless and hadn't talked to my folks in about 3 years and didn't want 2 years of probation when I could just sit and work maintenence and go all over the jail and get swole. Probation/drug court and all that is a trick to get u to the joint it's like having g a fish hook directly to jail in your mouth at all times. Fuck that
Yup the system is definitely designed to perpetuate itself. Probation is different here and is basically just a loose monitoring system that usually just results in a minor criminal charge if violated. A Conditional sentence or parole have much more serious consequences. Probation in the states seems like it has the potential to resentence you, has basically no limit on conditions that can be imposed and can exist on both state and federal level. -

A friend of mine literally went from welding for 10 years to an IT job he bullshitted himself into despite having 0 experience in the entire field. He's fucking lucky he did, he kinda saw the writing on the wallvfor himself at least locally.
