   I'm going to put some solar panels on my house which are financially inefficient due to the insane regulation my socialist province has. Want to find a way to store my own without having to deal with our oligarchs overlords grid. I think that's what makes solar so attractive to governments is that the grid and storage can be centralized.

    Tidal is hard to store IIRC and even in places with huge bores its not efficient at this time.
    
    You're right though, we need a stop gap and geothermal is probably best in my mind. I like solar too but we need to find a way to increase efficiency without just building more/bigger panels and cells

    Russia doubled their interest rate too, similar to what they did in 2014 and their interest rate was I believe 12% at its highest. Russia still has many venefits of its financial systems. The UK has a ton of Russian money in it they're still nit targeting with their sanctions and the EU made sure everyone knew they were taking some of Russia out of swift to give them ample time to move money around.
    
    Pretty clear to see how much russia is relied on. Nothing targeting gazprom either that would be dusasterous

    Juicebox aka kolokol had posted for many years and was a staple within this community, following its many incarnations as they splintered. He was a good North Carolina boy with a keen interest in many of the fringe topics discussed in these forums. His mental health issues eventually became too much to handle and he chose to end things on his own terms. We hope his family has some peace and understanding in the aftermath. He was a clever, humble and hilarious guy who suffered from many of the issues young men face but do not seek help for until it seems like the challenge is insurmountable. We hope any others going through a similar situation can reach out to those who are only too eager to help them. May He get the peace he so desperately needed
