when it comes to topics, try pointing out something that the both of you can observe, ask questions, followup questions, crack in a joke somewhere and you're set. either that or talk in terms of their interest, as in, remember when they told you some tl;dr shit about their very own band "the three faggots" and how they are going to play a gig at that kewl sekrit venue? try asking light-hearted questions about how it went, the kind of music they play, the kind of music they like, that sort of thing.
you will quickly realize that, given that you let it happen and are attentive about it, you will gain a lot of shallow knowledge about a lot of topics if you converse with a lot of different people. if you play your cards right, you can use that knowledge to have some different topics to talk about when you meet new people.

2018-11-18 at 2:37 PM UTC in socializinghow good are you all at socializing? i mean you'd think this since this is a place for degenerates and junkies that people would have poor social skills but i've realized a lot of you have the natural tendency to conversate and socialize, like especially the ppl who are regulars in TC. it's difficult for me to come up with conversational topics or things to say that don't make me sound like a dick. i'm pretty used to drugs and isolation so now that i have a job, having conversation with the hipsters at work for 5-10 minutes at a time a few times a day is enough socializing for me. the personality i show them is fairly misrepresentative of my actual self though. i basically have to straight up lie about things about myself to be part of the hipster circle. it's cool though cuz we get tips cuz bitches got shaved heads and shit lmfao. i just don't understand where you niggas get the drive to talk to people from?
