    im basing that on lowest common denominator. there are probably people who can go from desk jockey anorexic to strongman competition in six months. there are also people who start out as a desk jockey anorexic and after a year of light/medium training still catch shin splints, muscle tears, and other assorted injuries doing warmups.

    i stopped reading those books/magazines. i read them all. none of them worked for me.

    after that you can start working out like 'normal.'
