This is the first time since I was 16 I've been out of work for longer than 2 weeks. Yes. Air travel is so common these days it's frivolous and destroying the planet. It should only be used when economically necessary. The result of our obsession with global interconnectivity is the COVID pandemic. Humans are not supposed to fly. It's cool that we can and the industrial economy would not survive without aeroplanes but that's a lot different than people using planes to travel for vacation and visit other cities in their own country when they could take a train or drive there.
Oh but that takes too long. Whatever happened to it's the journey not the destination. If everyone was like Greta and took a month long boat ride to visit north America the world would be a better place
