2018-12-22 at 5:09 PM UTC in Do you think you'd be brave enough to be in a gunfight?Back in high school probably in 1971 I was driving my parents car in a nice suburban neighborhood with my girlfriend and best friend in the front bench seat with me when a car started flashing its lights behind me. I pulled over and they pulled along side of me. There were several kids around my age in the car and one pointed a gun at me. Apparently he had gotten a beat down at the local bowling alley, gone home and got daddy's pistol and was out searching for the guy who whooped him. He supposedly was driving a car similar to the one I was driving.
I told him that it wasn't me but he kept talking shit. I told him something to the effect that I was going to get out of my car and shove his gun up his ass. Luckily, they sped away. My girlfriend was shaking beside me and my buddy was on the floor. True story.
I played football, wrestled and threw the shotput and discus in high school and felt invincible. Ah, to be young and dumb again!
