    As mmQ said, building up your credit, requesting higher credit limits, then doing cash advances to max out every card/LOC, would likely be better.
    
    Even better if you did all of this in another persons name. Maybe in multiple peoples name.
    
    You'd likely get less time for aggravated identity theft than armed robbery. If its state time, then you'd likely get out early on the non-violent crime.
