I understand that. That is a very broad statement. All I know is there were times I was at my darkest places in life, it would last for weeks; but if I was around someone I cared about and they had a listening ear, a good bawl would help me begin to come out of it.
I understand where you’re coming from. My husband feels the same way you do. The strong silent type. I also know that girls and boys are programmed differently. It’s so much more accepted by society if a woman cries. -

I remember thinking I knew it all. Life humbled me real fast. My son is in the know it all stage, but I do see him learning hard and fast.
Of course everyone is different, but for the most part, if you really are ready to die, you’re not gonna tell people so they can try to stop you. Of course there are people that talk about it, but when they are truly ready to kill themselves, they won’t say a word. -

I was prescribed klonipin in my 20s, I was on it for 3 years. You DEFINITELY want to taper off. It didn’t F with my head going off, I just remember sweating my ass off for 2 months. And don’t give the lyrica credit for helping you with anxiety, give yourself credit; you’ve probably learned better coping skills.

2018-06-08 at 9:55 AM UTC in Getting oldAt 40 my eyes started changing. Never wore glasses a day in my life. By 45, I had to get glasses. It’s just one of those things, can’t do much about it. I’m actually in the middle of doing trials on contacts lenses, I’m on my third prescription. These seem to work pretty well.
This is just how getting older goes. Either accept it, or be blind.
