I'd never heard of TCL but apparently this is the best selling 50" TV on Amazon and has good reviews (Chinese of course).
I got this one because it was the only 50" one my local Wallyworld had in stock...I said to the assistant "I want to buy a TV"..she said "which one"...I said..."well looking at the shelf you only have 1..."
