The advent of a new pseudoephedrine product to combat methamphetamine abuse

Recently, immediate release pseudoephedrine HCl 30 mg tablets presenting barriers to converting pseudoephedrine to methamphetamine have been introduced (Table 2). Nexafed® (Acura Pharmaceuticals Inc, Palatine, IL) uses Impede™ Technology, a mixture of polymers to incorporate methamphetamine resistance to the formulation, as measured by a substantial reduction in the extraction and conversion of pseudoephedrine to methamphetamine from the product. This report explores the bioavailability of the active ingredient in Nexafed® as well as its tamper resistant properties.

rials were conducted using the one-pot procedure (Supplement 2) on Sudafed® tablets (control) and Impede™ technology tablets (test). Three different primary non-polar solvents were tested. Heptane/ether mix (automotive starter fluid), and hexanes were evaluated as a single trial for each whereas petroleum distillates (camper fuel) was performed as duplicate trials. Each trial used 100 crushed tablets containing 30 mg of pseudoephedrine HCl. Initially, a consistent amount of non-polar solvent was present on top of the insoluble drug products and added reactants. Once the reaction commenced (Step 7), the control and test articles progressed differently. The texture of the control reaction solids remained granular with the non-polar layer remaining visibly unchanged in volume. The Impede™ technology tablet polymer matrix became coarse and ultimately swelled to subsume a large amount of the non-polar layer. This mixture also entrapped gas bubbles throughout the reaction and gas pockets could be seen throughout the solids at the completion of the reaction. Subsequently, less than half of the solvent was recovered after enhancementing the reaction mixture.

The results of all trials for the control and Impede™ technology tablets are shown in Table 3. The one-pot reaction experiments for the control resulted in a mean methamphetamine HCl yield of 1.81 g/reaction for a mean yield of 67% relative to the 2.7 g theoretical 100% yield. The range of methamphetamine recovery for control was 1.44–2.10 g. The Impede reaction experiments resulted in a mean methamphetamine HCl yield of 1.02 g/reaction for a mean yield of 38%. The range of methamphetamine HCl recovery for Impede was 0.77–1.33 g. In all reactions, Impede resulted in a lower yield than control regardless of the solvent type used. Overall, Impede™ technology tablets are 44% lower in mean total methamphetamine recovery relative to the control. In general the methamphetamine recovery results were fairly consistent for the three solvents tested with a relative standard deviation for all four trials at 15.1 and 22.4% for control and Impede, respectively.

this is why you have to RAPE the pills before cooking them

    do you mean dry?

maybe your air is too moist try this

    or this

there is a bit of a trick to getting something totally DRY which becomes infinitely more difficult if you aren't using clean sources of pseudoephedrine . Because non clean pills have weird shit that absorbs water and steam distills over and will stick in the end product so when you try to dry it you just end up with goop.

the pills are specifically designed to fuck you up every step of the process, they have spent almost 20 years perfecting the recipe. Every time you eat a sudafed pill you are eating also a dozen hidden patent secret chemicals that nobody knows about except the company and they change it up a lot.

    examples of weird shit from pills;
floating balls of polymer or wax in solvent
globs of sticky mystery goop that are immune to acid, water, solvent and heat
cloudiness from invisible particulates that are impossible to remove
    colors
    solidification

they are real tricky there are rumors of a chemical they put in that destroys meth. It's like some long chain crazy chemical name like hexadecyl-2-carbonyl-ammonium hydrate and when you cook it in a bitch reduction it reacts with meth to turn it into salt and water and destroys it all so you just get junk. and it's only soluble in methanol BUT YOU USED TOLUENE! IDIOT!!

I got bored of drug chemistry especially shake and bake meth from pills so long ago because of this bullshit. It's always the same and I have not seen any slight change in more than a decade.

If these youtube alts like bitchute and vimeo wanted to make the big bucks they should have actually tried to make their platforms good instead of pulling a lanny and just letting their community fester.

I have only ever considered those places alternatives to when people get shut down on YT, some content creators I watch almost made the switch a few years ago but survived, some didn't make it like chemplayer, his last video was 2 years ago

    https://www.bitchute.com/channel/chemplayer/

I know a lot of channels that also upload on alt channels and those channels are dead, not even popular on those websites because that audience also only uses it for alt uploads or stuff that's way too niche to get a serious audience. I don't think it's an advertising monetary problem anymore, the websites have been around forever but people are unwilling to give up a potential youtube career to become a video hobbyist with no earning potential.

Like yeah you can upload and host your shit about hitler and cooking meth but even if it gets popular you will probably never make any money from it unless you can direct that traffic to something else, it's not direct like youtube where you can get paid per views essentially.

Even if you pay people to watch they are still unwilling lol
