The stink is still noticeable. -

Originally posted by Kingoffrogs I have heard that vaporizing is a cleaner, clear headed high than smoking. How does it compare to smoking to you, and do you use convection or conduction? I would vaporize if I could afford a convection vaporizer, but I can't so I smoke joints.
It is. I'm not sure how to compare them anymore, I haven't smoked in something like 2 years now. I know some people have trouble making the switch because they associate the effects inhaling the byproducts of combustion with the high. Getting the right type of vape probably helps.
The vaporizer I use is mainly convection, however I usually heat-soak the bowl before I hit it and doing so makes it somewhat of convection / conduction hybrid.
IME pure conduction vapes produce more flavor, but also are session vapes - several draws over multiple minutes to achieve satisfaction. With the ball-vape I can clear a bowl in 1-2 bong rips and become instantly high as fuck.
Sometimes I miss the ritual of rolling a joint. But I definitely don't miss dealing with ash, smelly roaches, smoking in the cold during winter, or my persistent cough which cleared up after I quit.
I've basically stopped using my portable conduction vape and keep it only as a back-up. The table top 120V ball-vape is my daily driver since I mainly just get high at home these days, but if I need a little pick-me-up while I'm away from home I enjoy those disposable vape cartridges. Discrete, mild high. -

I don't. Like I said in the quoted text, I never made an attempt. I'm not lamenting this, it's just how it is.

Apologies, I'm not on social media.
It's also hard to trust people I don't really know because as you can see sometimes they turn into the poster above. Also I know you used to hate me, you told me this, and once again it's not so easy to fully trust someone who so easily hated me for basically no reason. But I want you to know I do think you're different now. -

Originally posted by jerryb So will Canada, good we'll let them feed all those poor Africans.
Maybe, but it could also be more complicated than that:
Will Canada benefit from climate change?Several global agricultural studies predict benefits from climate change for Canada—one model projects the productive value of Canadian prairie farmland could increase by 1 to 4 per cent or up to $4 billion annually. However, these studies are usually highly simplified and estimate farming benefits based only on projected temperature increases—a reductionist approach that assumes warming temperatures will extend the growing season for key crops and grow the land base available for farming. These studies fail to account for more specific effects of climate change and other factors crucial to the viability and success of agriculture: more frequent extreme weather events, the expansion of pests and diseases, water availability, and soil quality.

Climate change will cause agricultural failure and subsequent collapse of hyperfragile modern civilization, likely within 10–15 years. By 2050 total human population will likely be under 2 billion. Humans, along with most other animals, will go extinct before the end of this century. These impacts are locked in and cannot be averted. Everything in this article is supporting information for this conclusion.

Seems like a lot of people have a lot of complaints about it though. I don't understand how.
I have been pretty slow at this game, probably because I've only played it while high.
I'm looking forward to designing my own ship. -

"There remains a likelihood that some existing fires they continue to be active through September and possibly later into autumn or even winter," Wilkinson said.
Human-caused climate change, driven by fossil fuel use, is increasing the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, scientists say, having long warned that government officials must slash emissions to prevent climate disasters. -
