like I said before, I don't consider Trump to be a good option, but he was far better than the other choices. Hillary would've meant real kinetic war inside of six weeks as opposed to the 'hybrid' mess we have now. Even if I agreed with most of Sanders' talking points his ideas were too far removed from US policy for them ever to be realised, especially with conservatives dominating both houses. Stein was divorced from reality. Johnson made a mockery of the word 'libertarian'.
Trump would've been great if he was able to actually do what he originally intended, but I know how difficult and dangerous changing the status quo can be - Putin did it after the fall of the Soviet Union and he still has to sleep with one eye open.
My point is that even though he came in promising real change, and in many cases he honestly tried, the status quo remains.
