I remember the pixels were so large you could count them with the naked eye. I bought the 16k memory expansion deal. Oh man loading from cassette. The next year I got a TRS 80 COCO II and thought I was hot shit with ROM packs and a dual 5½" FDD and a 900 BAUD accoustic modem.
That was 1983, the 1st year compuserve opened for the consumer market. Text based "internet". I believe it was more like a WAN with access to things like a "CB" channel, which was like IRC but a different protocol. They had some ASCII games and some sort of general reference "library". I'm sure there was more but at that time I was more into learning BASIC and Pascal so, while I'm sure they had more I don't recall what?
Anyhow cool find from a nostalgic sense but not really that useful TBH.
I like to tinker with old computers, add extra internal memory, SD card solutions, video out modifications etc. Most of the fun I get from my old computers isn't so much using them but fixing them/fixing them up.
