Originally posted by Fox Yeah and that projected threshold was just passed within the last few years. It’s gonna take at least another 50-100 years before the rain forests turn into deserts and massive crop failures lead to mass starvation.
No, the threshold they set in the 80's came and went in the 90's pal. -

Maintenance has nothing to do with not wanting to freeze my ass of in the Rocky Mountains in February at 80 MPH. Any other fantasies you want to share? -

Originally posted by Obbe I think people should be paid whatever value their labour generates. The CEO is being compensated by the same people who compensate everyone else. They are called shareholders. They determine a CEO's value not you. -

Originally posted by Fox You realize when they say “we have X amount of years until it’s irreversible” they don’t mean once X years has passed that all of a sudden the world will just explode and we all die instantly.
The effects take time to manifest. Since you’re well into your sixties already you’ll unfortunately be long dead by the time shit really hits the fan, so you won’t be able to see how wrong you were.
Well then it is way too late. They projected in the 80's it would be irreversible unless we did whatever we didn't do then with in a period of time that has long come and gone. -

Fucking lol.
I own 3 Indians. A 2015 Chief Classic, a 2018 Scout and I just ordered a 2020 Roadmaster which is set for delivery in March. I'm not riding over 2000 miles through snow and the rocky mountains in the winter. So yeah I rented a bike to use while I vacation in Vegas. Jealous? -

Originally posted by Jiggaboo_Johnson Back in the mid 80s I'd signed up (RE: paid the 1500 quid) for a 6 week bike adventure across the Sahara region, and the journey was going to be documented for "Bike" magazine (A well known UK mag)…it was canceled though due to the main dude breaking his leg a couple of weeks before we went. SMH.
We were going to use Aprilia Tuareg's, I suspect a Harley wouldn't have made it 3 miles…
Your suspicions are meaningless just like your non trip -

Originally posted by Fox They do have a metaphorical gun being held to them, the one that says they will starve to death if they don’t work to earn money.
Every organism in nature from a single celled whatever all the way up to man must toil to survive. The only "gun" is your own choice to live or die. If a wolf doesn't hunt with the pack it doesn't eat and it dies. Is that the packs fault? Should the pack just feed those members who are too lazy to make a meaningful contribution to the hunt just to be fair? That bad old greedy mean unfair pack!
Originally posted by Fox And all the people that PAY money do not offer a fair amount to 99% of their workers.
If you went to the store and saw cans of peaches selling at $20 cans for a dollar would you tell the cashier that price is not fair I need to pay you more? Of course not. So why would you pay more than you have to for anything else of value. Labor has value according to what is agreed upon by the seller and the buyer.
Originally posted by Fox It’s the illusion of choice, in reality almost all of us are slaves. The only real choice we have a say in is which slave owner we want
Or you can work for yourself and start a company like Jeff Bezos (He's a tard IMO for other reasons) and millions of others. Or you can be a contractor like hundreds of millions of others. It sounds to me like you don't have much confidence in your ability to survive outside of the "traditional" workplace.
