With weed you can plant it in a 5 gallon bucket and hoist it up into a tree but you need more than a few plants if you're planting poppies. I don't know, figure out if deer will eat them then get back to me.

Papaver Somniferum has a long history of use here and old people don't give a fuck, they want their tea. Every old person in my old town grows Poppies and it's beautiful. Nobody is gonna call the cops because of some really beautiful flowers there. Great.
Do you have other kinds of Poppies growing in your local flora? Papaver Rhoeas is native here and it grows everywhere. Normal people don't question the size difference. The harvest is a bitch, though. A BITCH! -
