2017-12-09 at 8:07 PM UTC in Some questions regarding a lunatic mouseThat DVD is a live Windows environment, used by technicians and nerds to repair various aspects of Windows. You can use it just as you would normally use Windows. I just want to see if your mouse behaves that way within a totally foreign operating system.

You need to be looking for chipset drivers and BIOS firmware updates as well as any trackpad software provided. These three things are what you are looking for. Go to your computer manufacturer's website and find their drivers section and search for your model. Find drivers associated with Touchpad/Trackpad/Input, chipset, and BIOS firmware updates. Install all of them and report back.
All you need to do is make the DVD and boot to it. That is all you are concerned with. If the mouse behaves normally within it, then it is a software (driver) issue. If it acts weird in that too, then it's likely hardware. -

2017-12-09 at 7:43 PM UTC in Some questions regarding a lunatic mousePlease create this DVD and boot to it. Report back if the mouse is still doing it within that.

2017-12-09 at 7:22 PM UTC in Some questions regarding a lunatic mouseSo you're saying if you disconnect the external mouse and disable the trackpad, you still have a cursor on your screen that moves entirely on it's own?

2017-12-09 at 7:12 PM UTC in Some questions regarding a lunatic mouseYou say "mouse" then refer to a trackpad. Are you talking about an external mouse or a built-in laptop trackpad?

2017-12-09 at 6:53 PM UTC in tfw almost 30You can live life in child-like wonder all you wish to. No one stops you from that. If that fulfills your life, then do it.
Thing is, there are certain things your very existence requires. Food, water, shelter. Sure, you can live under a bridge, drink from a river, discarded water bottles with a few sips left in it, collect rain, and you can eat wild animals or trash to sustain yourself, all while having that beautiful child-like wonder in your mind. No one is stopping you from doing that. However, you probably won't be enjoying yourself too much.
If you want more..."material" things, this requires a job. Having a job requires responsibility, discipline, skill, etc. These are traits developed with maturity. You can have a job and live in your mother's basement, sure. Easy-peasy. It's harder to have a job, manage the mortgage, car payment, car insurance, health insurance, electrical bill, phone/internet bill, cellular bill, TV bill, water bill, trash collection bill, taxes, gas, groceries, etc. This, too, requires some level of maturity.
Eventually, you grow out of the things that you were once obsessed with as a child because you're too busy working, paying debts, making adult decisions, etc. It's a natural transformation. -

2017-12-09 at 6:33 PM UTC in tfw almost 30Uhh, it's called maturity. You grow up and become something responsible. In my teenage years, I was a wild, drug-addicted freakshow. Being arrested every other month, overdosing every week, always into some scandal and scheme and plot. I was young and dumb (and full of cum, too).
I'm older now. I own my own business along with my wife. Haven't been arrested, ticketed, hell, even pulled over in nearly a decade (since I got out of prison). I've made sweeping life changes for the better. Life is good as fuck right now.
I get what you're saying though. To remember what it is like to be a teen with few responsibilities. Care-free. I get that. I sometimes miss it, too. The fact of the matter is, those days are gone. Today is now. Live for today, prepare for tomorrow. No one wants to be 40 and looking back like, "Dang, I shouldn't have been a daydreaming faggot all of my life". -

2017-12-09 at 6:16 PM UTC in Walkman NW-A40What is wrong with your iPods?
I just repaired/upgraded an iPod. Installed an SSD in it and replaced the stock battery with a higher capacity one.
Honestly, Apple makes a lot of shit products (most iMacs, most Macbook Pros/Airs, phones) but the two things they do very well are the iPad and the iPod (I favor the classics). There is no reason to look at any other MP3 player whatsoever. -
2017-12-09 at 6:13 PM UTC in my laptop died i thinkMATE is a desktop environment used in many Linux distros. It appears that you have somehow fucked your DE up. You will need to reinstall a DE of your choice or simply reinstall Linux. If you partitioned your /home directory properly, there will be minimal data loss.

2017-12-09 at 6:10 PM UTC in Infected flash driveChrist, guys. Try to keep it on topic. Who gives a shit if he exposed where he is from?
Hamp, if you are worried about it, you could always boot to a live Windows repair disk such as this one and use that to scan/disinfect the drive and/or wipe and format the flash drive. -

Originally posted by aldra I'm mostly talking about immigration and the problems with the concept of 'multiculturalism'.
People who migrate into a host society should be expected to make an effort to integrate themselves; to adopt the host culture to a degree and not form enclaves that undermine the 'social fabric'.
If you're after a specific example, my father's family is Vietnamese and they migrated here to Australia after the Vietnam War. My father, aunts, uncles etc. were forced to integrate through school, but there were many people in that community (most specifically those who were older) who abjectly refused to learn or speak English and would interact only with close family groups - any time they needed to interact with someone outside the circle they'd send the kids.
Things aren't nearly as bad as they used to be, but south-east Asian and Arabic (Lebanese mostly) enclaves caused massive issues in western Sydney in the 90s for the very reason that they didn't understand or respect the host culture. Local groups ranged from indifferent to hostile to police, corruption in local government was an epidemic, there were almost parallel legal systems in operation… Things like that.
and yet videos discussing the matter get delisted on youtube…
I love you. -

I'm not sure what you've tried though. 20g would make most people pretty fuckin nauseous. I know current opiate addicts who would not take that much.
Last time I used Crouton, I brewed tea with an entire ounce. Triple brewed it, in fact. (recanting and brewing again).
The effect was that of 20mg of oxycodone ala Percocet (with the APAP and all). There was no nausea produced.
Because MANY PEOPLE report a symptom after use doesn't mean EVERYONE must experience it. -
