Hell, even for me, intimacy is a scary thing. I don't blame him. Honestly, if I had any sense, I should be just as frightened of it as he was. It hurts. It scars like no other.
I miss Malice a lot. I miss talking to him, asking him advice… the guy helped me A LOT, and I really appreciate the time he took. I wish I could have helped he 1/10th as much as he helped me even…

Malice wasn't an idiot, he made a calculated scientific assessment of his condition and long term prognosis and decided he wasn't interested in experiencing that so he opted to end his life now rather than endure needless suffering. He was a capable person and didn't really need "help" in my opinion because his decision wasn't made in a rash, irresponsible and emotional manner. It was made after careful planning and research.
The attitude that all people who reach the point Malice did need to be "saved" is what gets dignified death practices such a bad rep. A person can decide that they no longer find life worth living while still being of a clear and sound mind. Children don't know what is good for them and lack the experience and sense to make an informed decision, therefore they are incapable of making a decision on something as complex as sexual attraction. Its the same reason why you couldn't allow a child to be left to decide what to eat. A child would end up living on sweets and cakes and junk that was bad for them. If a child was to be left to go off getting into sexual relationships with strange adults it would be disastrous. Even adults struggle with this. Just look at how badly hurt many women can and do get all the time from relationships with asshole men. A child would have no chance defending themselves from that sort of shit. Its the same reason why you wouldn't let a five year old go off crossing busy roads, or doing any other dangerous activities. Its a dangerous world full of dangerous nasty people. Children need to be protected and its a parents job to protect their child. How irresponsible a parent would you be letting your child go off having sexual affairs with god knows who.
