2018-01-20 at 4:17 PM UTC in Your favourite subjectswhat do animals think when they hear our music playing? obviously shit loads of animals get to hear humans playing music, whether its pets in our home, birds in the garden, animals at circuses and shit, even wild animals that live in close proximity must get to hear it all the time. do you reckon any of them understand any significance to it at all? surely some must have the mental capacity to understand patterning, so some must realize the regular rhythmic patterns to music. or is it just a weird humming they experience in their background just like if you was on a factory estate and the sound of machines and tools clanking was all around you, but you eventually just shut off to it. i wonder if peoples cats ever put any kind of logical thought as to why the humans seem to make a sound with that weird shaped rock thing in the corner all the time. i wonder if they notice our reactions to the music and realize it at least has some significance to us.
