C is good for learning how things work; most higher-level languages will automatically take care of things like memory management, type casting and conversion etc. so a lot of people end up not learning about it at all because they never need to. until they do. in terms of actual use, it's overkill for basic scripting and coding - for most people it's only worth going into if you need low-level access or if performance/application size is imperative.

just for general purpose stuff python's a decent choice; it's structured, has a LOT of community support and there's a python interpreter for most operating systems so code is essentially cross-platform portable. python's autistic as fuck about whitespace though (which I can't handle), and there were major syntax changes between 2 and 3 so it's likely there will be similarly big changes in the future as well.

I personally prefer perl for that sort of thing. massive amount of cpan libraries and a lot more flexible in how you can do things. very similar to C99 syntax too; they don't give a fuck how you use whitespace or whether you even bother with it at all.

hillary's personally responsible for the destruction of one (arguably two) sovereign nations resulting in tens of thousands of casualties - that alone makes trump a more reasonable choice.
amusingly enough, if he did indeed walk out into the middle of the street and shoot a random person like he said, he'd have far less blood on his hands than she does.

given her aggressive foreign policy, ridiculous exceptionalist rhetoric and advisors that are somehow more extreme than she is (see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYs_pfljaBE), I would be genuinely surprised to NOT see nukes flying before the anniversary of her inauguration.

jam a match halfway into your jap's eye, wrap it tightly with striking paper and make sure the end of it is (the paper) taped to your helmet.

if you can ejaculate with enough force to strike the match, you win! you get to eat the sao.

To be fair if idio didnt make the mod team a &t2 circle jerk (I should know, I was a mod for a short while) then it could have gone much better. There wasnt a real reason for him to shut it down other than "muh PI" which again is retarded. Glad lanny was a chap and opened this place up. Pretty lulzy that a halfway broken forum on an obscure domain with mighty slow servers and an absentee dictator has thus far survived longer than its mega faggy predecessors.

you're not entirely wrong, but I talked to idio a few times before/in the process of getting it set up. he seemed to think that it was just another totse2 clubhouse and failed to foresee the other kinds of degenerates that'd try to wreck his shit

    You're living the dream brah.

they made me go to a 2 hour mandatory meating and made me sit at the front so I couldn't sleep through it this time, so I had tramadol and modafinil for breakfast

also I'm not really a programmer, most of my job is just people asking me to make stupid shit work together.

also they ask me about security then do the opposite.

after totse the userbase split to zoklet and totse2, both had heaps different members and 'culture'. they both went down around the same time, arnox (and later idio, both from totse2) thought he could catch the userbase for both on a new site.

both were in way over their heads

Oh! Nearly forgot Midnight Sun. Wtf happened to him? Didn't he get pissed off at intosanc and rage quit or something?

lol I remember that video he posted of him offering a tweaker jenkem

    'jenkem? what's that?'
'you've never heard of jenkem? butthash? WELL, you shit in a bottle, and you let it ferment, then you huff it and you get HIGH AS SHIT'

    in a heaps menacing voice

Yeah, I noticed he hasn't been posting as well. No idea, maybe I should start scanning the oakland obits.

What do you think of azure? Most people I talk to dismiss it as the ENTERPRISE QUALITY version heroku, although most of them also have never actually used it. I'm pretty much in the same boat, MS does have a history of this kind of thing though.

Azure itself, as in the offsite Active Directory is not bad; seems reliable enough and has all the features of standard AD that we've needed. it's fairly expensive as I understand it though.

in terms of the other 365 tools (Exchange specifically) they're not bad, but still fairly new. They've got a ways to go in terms of API support and enterprise features (ie. sublicensing*); there have been a fair few things we've had to work around because they're not ready yet or MS didn't think people would want them.

example: company I work for is a franchisor, we buy 365 licenses and resell to the franchisees (bulk discount). if said franchisees want to use OneDrive or SharePoint, there's no way to give them separate instances - all offices have access to each others' internal data. I'm presently trying to work around that by using AD privileges, but will need to write an automated solution and user-accessible office management because it's going to be very difficult to manage individual groups for the number of offices and users we have.

you can threaten to mail me drugs anytime

though asshole customs will probably take it
  17. aldra JIDF Controlled Opposition
both. the former was always going to happen since none of the past admins seemed terribly competent at either hosting or keeping their PI private, and we've talked angrily about the latter a lot in the past

professional merc groups tend to only hire ex-military; they pay well because they don't have to train you. unless you go with one of the African or French groups that will take literally anyone and pay you shit. and use you as bullet sponges.

you could join the few antifa guys who went over to fight with the kurds, but I'm pretty sure you need to be able to chainsmoke black cocks to join antifa. also the kurds are probably in for a world of hurt once assad and putin stop teabagging islamist separatists.

I have seen a few 'Templar' groups operating in the region but they're all vets and well disciplined fanatics. they will not take you on.

why not just take a holiday to saudi arabia and chop some heads? see how they like it. they might even make you police chief.
