   Kaspersky's been following them for a decade or so; decided on the name based on advanced algorithms they've been spotted using and the fact that they've never left a tag of their own. assumed to be the NSA or a subcontractor for same.

   I suspect it's an archive of 0day and currently-unpatched exploits; most of their actual tools rely on multiple servers and providers so they're not something that can be distributed easily.
   
   if this is true, wikileaks will be in the process of sending the exploits to the vendors to expedite patching - amusing because a LOT of the NSA's intrusion tools are about to stop working.

   even if you were a full-blown retard you'd be able to pick it up in an hour or so. once it's set up signing is as easy as
   
   gpg --import [other person's key]
   gpg -ae [textfile with address in it] output.txt
   -select the other person's sig from the prompt-
   send them the contents of output.txt
   
   even if you don't think you need it, it's best to take precautions. I'm pretty sure there graphical frontends that make it even easier.
