Maybe it's just a service starting, or your task scheduler running some things that are not particularly malicious. My go-to solution without investigating the offending machine is bootable AV environment, just to be sure. For reasons i won't get into booting into an AV environment is better than just running a regular scan. Google Anti-Virus ISO. https://www.lifewire.com/free-bootable-antivirus-tools-2625785
I liked Avira, but only because it's like you boot into Ubuntu. Now when you have the ISO get this tool https://rufus.akeo.ie/ follow the instructions and create a bootable USB drive. When you are done you can leave it plugged in and just restart your PC, now smash that F12 button or which ever is appropriate for your motherboard. After that you set the boot order to start with USB. Now it will boot into the AV environment. If you have Avira, it's going to download all the latest virus definitions now, just let it be for a while, then run all the scans.
Reboot into Windows after it's done. Update to the latest patch and hopefully the issue will be resolved. If not report back.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
