I have 3 Timex Expedititions. Now I'll have you know my friend, I've only actually owned three watches. I like Timex Expedition because the faces of them don't scratch, they come with a durable leather band, and i've only had to replace one of the batteries once. I personally prefer the classical beige one and truthfully, i can't remember what the other ones look like cuz i've been wearing this one for about a year and the gay ass blue one i dind't like the band of it and thought it looked kinda like boy scoutey and not my flavor
oh and they have indiglo where if you're like under water (up to 50 meters water resisitant btw) you can push the knob down and the watch face glows, the hands also glow slightly after you do it so you can check the time in the dark.
40$ from Amazon. Kohls has them in nice neighborhoods where they don't have any security stuff on them and slide off like the 10$ watches.

I got a job guys.
So I off and on work in the CBD industry, Wisconsin is still a non medical state, so one of the farmers asked me if I wanted to help do logging to clear out guys marsh on Monday morning, so like imo if my friend asks me to help for 1 day I dont expect money or pay or anything other than good Friendship.
He is like 40 and his other 2 guys were not good at cutting , moving on, then that spot gets cleared
Anyway I've done a lot of logging up north for veneer, post, and heating.
They haven't, i think they all are kinda rich.
So i get really drunk and do a lot of work.
My friends happy the bog is clean. Gives me 2 Oz of David banner that's trimmed terribly. That's really good tbh for 7 or 8 hours.
He calls me and asks if i wanna do the stream and keep clearing to reduce the bog flooding by building brush berms and allowing the stream to flow into the resivor pond. I'm Like that's a lot more than a day. He asked what I'd want as pay and I said 15. cuz I was drunk and the gas station was gonna do 16 and that's what I figure I'm worth as an employee and he said ok
I went back and him and the other guy and I cut and 5 hours hours and I was cutting 12 foot of cedar and it started tipping from the base which i guess was rotted and in reflex I put my left hand up right keeping the chain saw
And when my left palm hit it my elbow smashes into my bottom most left rib and I just felt like a crunch and my head flew forward and hit the tree but my bent hand, head and shoulder rolled it left and when the tree went down it landed on other creek brush so the chainsaw was fine, and then I slowly picked up sticks and thought how stupid and worthless i was to throw away another job opportunity and really shifting on myself for being a fuck up.
Then I said a prayer and drank more steel reserve and dragged wood cuz it hurt to bend, until the boss came for me and said he was surprised how much had been cleared
Google said it was a rib injury and regardless of sprang, fracture, or break there's no treatment and just time.
Tldr
So I spent 15 hours over the last two days cutting wood and pulling brush for my new job with a fractured rib i got on the second day but I was by myself and no one saw by the time i was back cutting. I didn't drink anything cuz Im scared ill fuck it up worse and not feel it, I've never had an injury where it hurts to cough or lay down. I made 320$ and two ounces of nugs for 4 days of work.
And now it only hurts if I cough, lay horizontally and to start the chainsaw. I didn't tell my mom I got hurt so she's all wondering why I haven't had a beer in over a day
