2023-03-08 at 5:48 PM UTC in Interesting companynot sure what you're asking me? It depends on the country as to what a financial license really means? It's quite a ubiquitous word and should not be seen as a major validation.

Originally posted by aldra depends on which ones and who you ask I guess
typically they're used as soft power to promote causes, ideologies and initiatives that their benefactors want (ie. US-backed ones like NED, USAID etc will push US foreign policy, whereas Soros-backed ones push general globalist ideology), but they wouldn't survive if they weren't attractive to at least some of the local population. they tend to operate by finding and taking advantage of social fractures, for example advocacy, funding and legal services for feminists and homosexicals in Iran or anti-Russian and anti-Soviet causes in Eastern Europe
how do these fringe companies get set up and receive hundreds of millions of dollars to push these narratives isn't this shit dangerous like why would they let companies do this shit to their nation when they can just hire people to kill people for a fraction of the money?
is the world really like that? -

2023-03-08 at 5:19 PM UTC in Georgia must not submit to Russia
Originally posted by aldra NGOs like the NED (which was officially created to replace the CIA for soft power) are tasked with creating 'grassroots' networks and activism groups that are meant to change public perception… it's what all that funding is for.
the narrative that they're disseminating here seems to be that the government is secretly controlled by Russia and that the new laws are meant to 'destroy democracy' or whatever series of buzzwords it is they're peddling at the moment - that the NGOs represent democracy and prosperity under attack. in a post-soviet country where nobody trusts the government to start with, it's probably not hard to mobilise them.
Do the NGOs give them anything worthwhile or not really? How often do their elections go? are they fair in the world's opinion? -

Originally posted by Wariat putain's decision to invade peaceful and sovereign Ukraine is easily the worst political decision of the 21st century (easily outdistancing the US's catastrophically stupid decision to invade Iraq).
invading countries is a 19th century game that brings no benefits in the 21st
get with the times russia or stay mired in backwardness and poverty and ignorance…
i think the worse decision in the 21st century was when you asked those two cops 'hey have fuys seen any 13 year olds' while they were looking for you -
2023-03-08 at 5:04 PM UTC in Georgia must not submit to Russiawhy are average people so interested? bro we've had major turn out in our major cities only twice while i've been alive, the Black Lives Matter protests & the 1% (briefly) movement,
I don't see what makes these people so interested in protesting and walking in the streets and stirring social unrest in the cities because NGOs have to disclose where they are funded from? -
2023-03-08 at 5 PM UTC in Georgia must not submit to Russia
Originally posted by aldra Western media is calling the Georgian government 'pro-Russian', in reality there hasn't been much of a 'pro-Russian' element since before the war in 2008. They're just profoundly corrupt and willing to take money from anyone; they're doing the multi-vector thing.
What they're rioting about at the moment is a new law that forces NGOs to disclose their funding, specifically foreign funding and any of them that take more than 20% from foreign sources go on a FOREIGN AGENTS list. The media is saying it's almost the same as the Russian foreign agent laws that came in a few years back, which it is, but it's also very close to the US FARA designation system.
Pretty much just western NGOs whipping up unrest because these laws threaten their influence, a lot like the 2014 riots in the Ukraine
wow thanks for explaining that to me aldra -

Ocean or oceans. great writing here guys?
Yes. The correct the language would be actually "oceans of data about them from various data sources in Norway." 'data sources' should not be capitalized because data sources is not a proper noun. -

Hi, since these seems like an earnest question, i'll give you the best answer I can.
UNO Score is the proper name of the hub, proper names are capitalized when they are part of a title even when referring to inanimate objects or companies, etc -
