The chinese communist party is solidifying it's hold over it's number 1 resource: its people. My friend in china he is party member of very low rank, he tells me that he is able to go out on every other day driving and it is common for them to spend hours before or after work doing other things and just saying they are in commute, meanwhile the average citizen is unable to get on the bus or transit unless it's within 30 minutes of their work shifts and some people are unable to leave their apartment building because their phones ID QR code won't scan to let them out, lol.
