No. I was too obedient of a child to do anything about it back then. My parents used to punish me by telling me to sit on the stairs, on my hands. And I'd do it. Even if I felt like a girl, if my parents said I was to behave otherwise... thems was the breaks. I wouldn't feel like there was a choice. -

When I had that dream I mentioned. That seems like a turning point, anyway. Idk. I don't know when I felt that I was "SUPPOSED to be a girl". I mean... as a kid I thought I was supposed to listen to my parents, and they said I was supposed to be a boy... so probably not until some point after I lost faith in their authority? I don't remember any specific point where I was like "AHA! I WAS BORN WITH THE WRONG BODY PARTS!". It was kind of an understanding that evolved over time - that my body wasn't me, that I didn't feel like my reflection, that I didn't like the way puberty was effecting me. 🤔 -

Ahh you know... the classic wearing my moms stuff. I did girly stuff a lot. Until I got yelled at for it, and my parents drove home that it wasn't okay for me to be like that. :/
Also I spent like... ages as a kid trying to have dreams where I was a girl, because I had one once and it felt natural? Idk. I've been dealing with gender dysphoria in one way or another since I was like 6 or 7. That's 20 years of bullshit, starting before puberty or any of that.
Basically: with different parents I'd have started transitioning when I was a kid. -

I've been doing weird gender related stuff since I was a kid, but I'm also a total mess so I can see why you'd think that. Shit, even I still think of myself as "a man" in some ways. The whole penis thing makes it hard not to. *shrug*
