"Be" is the present tense. "Should abortion be legal" can be read to imply that it already is, but should it be? If the question was "should abortion be made legal", sure, but it wasn't so you're a fucking idiot. -

I legit poured over this wiki page looking for any explicitly gay male player characters, and I could find none (barring the protagonist of some random Finnish game called - and I shit you not - "Your Royal Gayness"). There are 2 possible explanations of this:
1) The world is not as thoroughly jedied as you thought.
2) The world is thoroughly jedied and while game developers are down to feign wokeness they know that a vast swath of their audience are dudes, and dudes would have homopanic heart attacks if they had to play a gay so it'd be bad for business. -

Then you have the first phase of proper 4chan culture from 2004 to 2005.

In 2008 4chan entered a new phase with boards like r9k and the new found status of being a widely known site, this was the first era where 4chan as it was originally from 2003 to 2007 officially died.
In 2011 you had >current year culture with all the shiteating normies unironically using 4chan as a Facebook esque hangout (with cancer such as the majority of the normies on this site), this lasted until the elections in 2016 where 4chan basically became Facebook 2.0 where it would no longer be strange to find your sister or mom on the site.
4chan in 2020 is so different from 2003 - 2005 4chan it might as well be called a different site.

Channology fucked 4chan up a bit, but even with the influx of people the site has never really changed so much that it was unrecognizable. I don't know what boards you go to, but /a/ and /v/ are the same shit as ever. /po/ is as it ever was. If you want to see what /po/ was like 15 years ago, go to /po/. It was exactly like that. It's all the same. /b/ is different, but the same - it's still cancer. There are new containment boards for other kinds of cancer like /soc/. But the boards you went to in 2005 are all about as close to the same as they possibly could be without actually being static archives from 2005. -

4chan is pretty much exactly as it was. A bit more genuinely racist, maybe. And less child porn. Have the memes changed? Sure. Has the general atmosphere of irreverent banter surrounding niche autistic interests like papercraft and anime disappeared? Nope. Forums are dying out though, sure. But they still exist. They're just not the primary means people have for communicating with each other online. Forums and forum culture still exist. You're fucking in one.
A lot of those are just... side effects of the inexorable passage of time. There aren't many products in this world that you can buy "brand new" in every store after 20 years. Guns, maybe? I can't think of any other thing you can buy after that long, least of all some form of electronics. And MySpace was actively shit - good riddance. You're lamenting the death of the "internet spirit" with one breath, and the death of the first major social media platform with the next. Make up your mind. If you think the internet is dying, MySpace was the HIV+ cock that riddled it with disease. Last.FM? The site created for the social media parasites spawned by MySpace to jerk themselves off by broadcasting what tracks they've been listening to like people post food on Instagram? Yeah. The fact that your grandma messages you on facebook doesn't mean sites like this stopped existing. 4chan has barely changed. Fundamentally the only difference between then and now is that there's a lot less child porn on the clear net, which I think we can all agree is probably a good thing.

I'm assuming MuscleJock stopped paying the bills because we all stopped playing for a while, and it's kind of an unnecessary expense in these uncertain times. Would be totally down for paying the hosting fees personally if that's what the problem is.

Theoretically yeah, there's a path through the nether leading to and from our respective gates but the journey is long and arduous. And boring. It's about 8000 blocks, by foot, through a cramped, winding tunnel system. It takes like 20 minutes to run through. Not recommended. -

Just finished up making a lighthouse/candycane chode with a beacon in it, right next to my Squidward house with a conduit in it. I think it looks pretty okay, all things considered.
