25,000 for a 1/3rd acre in the sierras. I need like at least 2 acres to do this. need a way to fund this. keep me busy doing something literally constructive. its a weird fantasy of mine I been wanting to do for a long time. would make a cool place to have parties and BBQ events for friends I dont have anymore
another reason i dont use computers for that shite anymore: a decade or more so ago i bought a $100-plus software package to design a house. i learned the use and idiosyncrasies of using it...had it about 80% done...then the company went out of business so i have no way to update or export it to be compatible with modern OSs.
now i do everything in a basic MS paint screen or on paper.
fortunately the city i live in allows hand-drawn blueprints as long as theyre legible. i make specs for actual construction permits so i have no problems.

I think people just took better care of themselves in the 70's and 80's like they were still eating real food and stuff. Different lifestyle I guess is why they didn't age as quickly as people do now.
