think about it, everyone is going to show up and overfish that frozen lake because no one is going to the ocean to try and fish off shore salt water doesn't freeze, does it? so oceans don't freeze. not sure how icebergs got into the sea but they probably slid down from mountain regions.
also, the iceberg is a great source of fresh water. and if you do dig a hole into one, it's probably a lot warmer than outside with the windchill
but living in the sierras, you can eat all kinds of stuff. it's nature's grocery store. We have wild turkeys now. apparently, they escaped a turkey farm from Idaho and came to california. they're all over the fucking place. Berkeley has way too many of them. stupid people stopping and taking photos of them. I just bump them at a crawling pace so they get the instincs not to get killed and kill people slamming on their brakes to take photos. -

I think it was in 1986 that the 50th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge occurred and something like a million people got to walk onto the bridge when it was closed for the day to celebrate. the fucking bridge had flattened out its design road arch.
I think they did the same thing for the 75th anniversary too but I wouldn't suggest doing it on it's 100th.
also, some people were jumping up and down. whats that scientific term called where soldiers have to stop marching because the vibrations can collapse the bridge?
this bridge had to many people on it all at once. they should have had a limit to how many crossed. probably nothing wrong with the design just over its expected capacity -
