You have to introduce all characters in the first 20 pages, you don't need a 9 point draft, you can do it in 3 layers. Middle, begining and end. However you should write out your finale second before start and last part. Then tweek it

He made it pretty by using colored fabric as wall drapes and knotted them into mesh like camo to keep the heat off of him.
