   I think the fetish comes after being raped. Women want to re-enact but have control over the situation to heal. I don't think that's a good way to heal though.

   I remember one weird scene, the alien guy, he stands at the door outside some woman's house. She goes to the door but doesn't open it, instead she feels compelled to rub her vagina against the door, some kind of door splinter enters her vagina and she dies. That doesn't make sense to me, maybe I didn't understand what I was reading...

    I read the Gerald's Game book when I was 14 and probably shouldn't have. I haven't watched the movie so don't know if it's the same. Her dad had was having sex with her when she was a child.

    Even if that's true, black people shouldn't vote for someone just because they're black, so it doesn't matter. Trump lies and says he loves women but he's a misogynist.
