   I can see it, I can believe it. But when it comes to the holocaust the history starts to get a lot more blurry. Was it a death camp or a labor camp? was "Arbeit macht frei" a taunt or a workers chant? who knows

   
   It was unqualified/unskilled people who joined the SS, it was the only time they could have authority in their lives so ofc they abused it. I won't say which mundane character I was interested in but she was bullied during childhood, couldn't get a job anywhere else, was young, from a quiet village. Ofc she turned into a fucking monster. Young people are cruel.

   I've never been slapped by a man but ik I wouldn't just sit there or let them live. They'd be getting hit over the head with something. That seems real weird to me that none of you did anything. Hope GG is okay.

   I can't imagine it tbh. If I was a man in that scenario I would have knocked him out after hitting GG and bought his gf a hotel room for the night so she was safe. I couldn't leave someone in danger like that. It sounds like she may want to be with you though.

    Anyway my textbook said all of the allies took part in the rape but Russians were the worst and that it may have been attributed to their hatred of the Germans for having a better quality of life than them.

    Why would it have been exaggerated when Germany lost and the allies were reporting on each other? There were also the mass suicides because of it.

    I suppose the preferring camping over a beach holiday isn't that creepy, it gives me the impression the person is more intellectual, and thus more cultured. Sadism is also a hobby of the cultured.

    Post-WW2 there was mass rape of German girls by the red army, millions of them raped and they all did it because they could get away with it. The type of men who go into forests alone are likely loners with no women in their lives, middle aged men who haven't had sex in awhile, creeps that dress like boomers, people who prefer going camping instead of beach holidays so yes.
