I just bought some glass drill bits, I settled on a perfect size one and did the drilling under a medium running tap. I just made oblong holes to get a desired slant angle, put the stem in and sealed it up. Took like 5 mins tips altogether. -

I used black silicone sealant. I just wipe away the excess with a paper towel. But if you want you can just use a rubber grommet. They are like $1 for 50 at the hardware store. -
