The leadership in most western countries are people who genuinely never had and hardship, they had rich parents, went to fancy schools, did internships at big global institutions, etc. They've never been hungry, never had to be anywhere they didn't want to be, and never had to be around anyone they didn't want to be around.
And the rest of us distrust the whole system, and we won't fight for it. Won't even make an effort for the common good, since all we would be doing is supporting a system who we can vaguely sense hates us anyway.
We are constantly told that the system would rather replace us with black people, so why would we make efforts for the preservation of that system? Let it burn. -

Also scored 2 ounces of primo tonic/tincture what translates in Cherokee tongue as simply "Roots". It's based in reservation moonshine w/ a probable proof of 666 lol. Peyote,mescaline & whatever "root" the didanawisgi/shaman seemed fit to use on the last full moon. It's been ayahuasca before so the unknown factor keeps things interesting. I plan on hitting the mountains here soon & doing a quasi "vision quest" which I like to do every 5 years or so.

In 2013 two former residents of Orillia (whom Berton wrote about in 1960) by the names of Patricia Seth and Marie Slark sent a letter to the Premier of Ontario describing how they had been beaten, sexually abused, held upside down in ice-cold water and medicated against their will at the Huronia Regional Centre (originally known as the Orillia Asylum for Idiots). That same week Seth and Slark became the lead plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit representing 5,000 former residents of Huronia. The lawsuit was settled in 2016 for $35,000,000.00 CAD. -
