I don't know what the solution is for you other than replacing it with something else. I have an extremely addictive personality but for whatever reason I've never been addicted to coffee or caffeine as far as I know and never used anything to "wake up and start my day" other than just plain old water.
But maybe would a nice tall caramel iced coffee be better for you to wake up with rather than the energy drinks? I did drink 2-4 monsters every NIGHT a while back for about 1 year, while I stayed up playing call of duty for 6-8 hour sessions. Just got so used to having them but I think that was half the addiction, and it didn't really by any means need them to stay awake or anything, plus I just liked the taste.
Now I pretty much just drink exclusively water and I'm used to it and it definitely feels noticeably better on the body than filling it with sugars and other junks. For me I'm almost able to use my addictive nature to my benefit in that regard by being "reverse addicted" to not using stuff (like coffee or sugar or energy drinks or soda).
Ive also quit smoking cigs entirely unless I'm drinking (which I've eliminated to once a weekend) and I'm hoping to snowball off that reverse addiction to hopefully quitting altogether.
Now I'm just talking about ME ME ME I'm sorry. What was my point? Oh yeah to try the nice caramel iced coffee in the morning instead of energy drink, I guess idk if that's even healthier or not but energy drinks feel gross looking back at them, definitely a good idea to try and eliminate them from your diet. And trust me I'm a professional dietician and cosmonaut so I know pretty much everything there is to know about everything, ever. -

2022-01-28 at 6:34 PM UTC in Why does alcohol make people so mean?I was a happy drunk when I used to drink but also it would encourage me to do dangerous and stupid things...nearly being eaten by an alliGAYtor was one stand out incident, thankfully 4 people stopped me and held be back after I challenged it to a duel.
ETA: and yes drinking and driving was par for the course...I was EXTREMELY lucky on multiple occasions not to get "caught". Pulling into a gas station with a bunch of cops standing around drinking coffee and falling flat on my face in front of them as I "tried" to walk into the store and looking up to see them all looking at me.

2022-01-28 at 4:55 PM UTC in Why does alcohol make people so mean?One time as a yungsta I threw a beer bottle at a passerby from a wooded area off the sidewalk and he was all glasses and bookbaggy in the middle of the day, outraged that he should have glass shatter in front of him like a nancy boi. So he stormed up into the area we were in and got beaten pretty badly but in our defense he was like twice our age and bigger than us and kinda charged uphill at us which was really stupid. We kinda got frenzied and stomped his face and expected to get arrested but not everyone had a cell phone in those days so we just dipped and drank at another outdoor spot.
Another time I hit someone in the face with a lamp because he wanted me to leave his apartment. Lots of other stuff too. Honestly, my dad was an alcoholic so when I was a Yung alci I kinda hated myself for it and thought I was weak and shitty like how I perceived him to be at the time. I guess my reasons are a little different but a lot of people do, usually people who get drunk quickly and easily -

Alcohol makes things that you secretly want to do much more agreeable (I.e. sex, junk food and coke) so trust that they were angry people all along and just used alcohol as an excuse to unleash it.
