Why do you exist?

If you decide to absolutely hate and reject him, what else is he supposed to do with you? How is it not logical or caring for him to put you out of your misery and just make you cease to exist? He doesn't want to of course, but that's kinda the only option he's left with.

Offering someone guidance to further your own plan is called manipulation. And if God is manipulative he is evil and therefore not God.

    There is no plan.

According to the Christian view: God = all things good and pure. By rejecting God, you are at the same time foolishly embracing darkness, which can eventually only lead to destruction and despair. God doesn't want this of course, but if you refuse to make a change, again, he had no choice but to simply end you.

Are you reading what you are saying? "If you hate X's guts it is right and proper of him to kill you".

How is it not cruel to give us the ability to be miserable in the first place?

Dumb question time. What is it called when you believe in God, believe in the Bible, all of it, but choose to reject God?

Anyway if someone doesn't want to worship you can't you just be a man about it and say, ok, he doesn't wanna worship me, that's fine. Instead God needs to be all bitch-made about it and punish you. It's the equivalent of banning someone whose opinions you don't like, lol.

His plan benefits you, genius. If he needed or wanted anything - he's God. He can make it happen.

    sez u

Why would an omnipotent God need to make anything that he would already fucking know exactly how it would turn out? Answer me that.

Yeah, but the fact X = God in this case is crucial. If God represents everything good, as Christians believe, your death is warranted. So is mine. We all deserve to die because we fall short. Only through mercy and grace is heaven even an option.

No. God created a perfect world, and we fucked it up, and continue to fuck it up every day.

That's like a little kid thinking they know what the best thing to have for dinner is. They'll eat a shit ton of candy and feel sick. Of course, they're free to make that choice, but with some guidance they could make a better one and learn to enjoy sweets in moderation.

    Annnd...gtg. I'll be back later.

So your argument is: Because God says so. Dank logic bro.

    Spooky.

Well, then it was very silly of God to create something that would ruin his perfect world. Unless his perfect world is this shithole we call earth in which case God is cruel and therefore not God.

Hahaha if I had a fucking dime for every time this was used as reasoning.

"Why do you believe in God?"

"Because I believe in the Bible."

"Why do you believe the Bible?"

    "Because God wrote it."

It's remarkable how many Christians will literally use this exact logic.

I believe in the Bible because it is a reliable source of historical information. I agree with you; that's circular reasoning, and blind faith is fucking stupid.
