2017-04-07 at 2:40 AM UTCmaybe I'll write about it at some point, would take a fair bit of effort.

Where does it say so in the bible? There are 6 count them 6 suicides in the bible and never are they expressly condemned. Also, if Jesus died for your sins and you consider suicide a sin did he not die to redeem you of that sin as well? -

I think it basically qualifies as murder, is where the sin aspect of it stems from. It's not unforgivable though, according to the Bible, so it really doesn't matter either way if you kill yourself you just have to ask for forgiveness before you do it or some shit. Lol -

Well, yeah. I guess I'd still go to heaven, but I don't want to end on a bad note. Kinda disappointing/embarrassing to take the easy way out.
Lot's of things that aren't specifically condemned in the Bible are still considered wrong. Suicide is a sin in that, from the Christian perspective, you are not your own if that makes sense. God created you, and promised to walk you through all the troubles in your life. Killing yourself is essentially saying you don't trust God's plan/his ability to work things out. Also, you'd be skimping out on your duty to do whatever it is God wants you to do in life. -

If God wanted errand boys then why do we have free will? -

No, no. We have another word for that and it's suicide. Basically the only argument i could see for it being a sin is this: God gives you life, that's pretty fucking dope. Then you go and say: Lol FUCK YOU GOD! I don't want be alive, i'm out. But if God would take offense to that then he is a petty and spiteful God. And not good and therefore not God. -

Well, all that happens is that you die a second time in hell. It's not like you suffer forever. -
2017-04-07 at 3 AM UTCI'm pretty sure suicide is illegal.

I agree. It's bullshit that we don't have a choice to be born to begin with. Christian logic says you HAVE to love God or your burn in hell. Never giving a person a chance to say that they don't want to be in that position. THAT is fucked. THAT is why I'm no longer a Christian among a host of other reasons. -

The two are not mutually exclusive. You can offer someone guidance without controlling their every move. Also, you don't have to follow his plan, you'd simply be better off if you did.
