I switched my account from the bank right up the street that I had used for 30 years because they decided to charge me for my checking account.
I'm now with a credit union and not only don't pay any fees, they pay me interest. While it is only 0.1%, it beats the hell out of paying.
Hell, I made a whole seventy cents last month on my checking account! I'm in the money now!

I used to manage a gas station and made deposits every day all properly bundled with rubber bands in the proper amounts and all bundled up like a brick.

I used to work in a service station, first few times around large sums of cash were thrilling. And the terror I felt doing large bank transfers (100k or so) for the first few times.
Sometimes the bosses daughters used to do banking. They were irresponsible, and used to dealing with large sums of money. We once got a call from the bank, they had two sack of cash left in with them with no deposit slips or anything, and they wanted to know if they were ours. They once had a cash fight in the cash office. Throwing money around like confetti.
Service stations have insane turnover, but not much profit. All a service station does is gather up money to give to the oil companies and the Saudis. Those fuckers have it for real.

I remember at what you could call a service station for a few reasons I guess in Cambodia just to buy some rizla but they only sold the long ones like they were for rolling joints or something, why are they even legal in places where weed is illegal because it’s obvious what people are using them for?
Anyway there were 2 small girls behind the counter they must have been kids and the owner of the garage must have been their father but no where to be seen
I pointed at the rizla then made a sort of half size gesture with my finger and thumb saying I need smaller
so they simply grabbed a pack out and cut them in half with scissors

Once a bank manager yelled at me. It was in Podil in Kyiv, and I wanted to change some Euros, but lost patience so walked. I don't remember what the problem was, but I remember being stuck behind some old folks doing their (bullshit money) banking, and reminding them to take their card, then waiting ages with no one helping me for some reason. It was sweaty as fuck, and he shouted at me "wait, wait", and I just shouted back "no".
