i don't mean control over just the hiring and firing. there are many companies that promote a certain ethos among their employees. an ethos that over-spills into the employees private life and 'encourages' them into following certain lifestyles, pursuits and even opinions that they may well have not chosen to of their own accord. i understand google is one such company that does this with their staff.
once that starts tho where does it stop? weak minded people could be easily manipulated into a lot of things simply through fear of losing job security.
you'll often find companies that say 'we're a family business here' to be the type that i'm talking about here. employee's get in and then find themselves 'encouraged' to go along especially when they are working with a whole bunch of already indoctrinated personnel, it can be very intimidating not to. plus it takes advantage of that human urge to want to fit in with the crowd and uses it in the end to control the whole person in many facets.

those records are histories. and like all histories, they only record the days in the lives of those who were significant in their days.
there werent records of peasants becos their lives were insignificant, not becos they didnt exist.
very much like us. we are all part of history but neither me nor you will ever be recorded in history.
therefore to those in the future, we didnt exist. -

are you kidding? these days where the authorities are 'database crazy' there is gonna be all manner of information about you for future generations to mull over. how accurate and how much the information is misconstrued however you will have no control over, but then then you don't really have control over it now so makes little difference. just that it has less negative effect on you when you're dead obviously.
