    I've thought about how feasible it would be to make a living off of youtube. There's a lot of news and entertainment channels that just repost videos and add a catchy thumbnail or something. And you could have had multiple channels for different topics/industries to maximize views

    I was looking into it the other week, you gotta have like 400,000 views per month or summing plus they'll look at your account and check you're posting the sort of videos that advertisers would want to associate themselves with an all. Obvs they'll be looking if you're stealing other peeps videos when they do that so if you do then clear them out until after they've agreed to monetize your account.
    
    And yeah you can tote have different channels bit youd have to post some really good quality stuff or just flood the shit out of it to make a living with it. I'm pretty sure each video has to reach a minimum number of views to start earning too. Best to just have it as a sideline to top up on your main earnings.     The youtube life is rough these days, a lot of people are getting demonitized for content that used to be ok. The big thing now is getting 3rd party sponsors to financially help out with your channel but you gotta be pretty big for sponsor to consider helping your channel out. If you are posting cobntroversial shit just ask for money on Patreon i hear that works.
